Event determining a trust

I have sight of a lifetime trust prepared by a Trust Corporation that says the trust ends the day before the settlor dies. I am not convinced this is valid or a workable definition, but would be grateful for m’learned colleagues views.

I agree. You would need to look careful at the precise wording of the trust to work out what happens to it on the basis that that condition is invalid.
