Has anyone else noticed on the new PA1P form to be completed in place of the Statement of Truth that under the Net Estate figure in boxes 7.3- 7.5 it states “This figure will determine the probate application fee”? Is this an indication that the increase in probate fees is likely to be back on the table sooner rather than later?
I wonder will it be as swift as the Statement of Truth to PA1P change!

Or it could just be to cover the situation where the net value is less than £5,000 so no fee is due.

My take was to allow for small estates (net sub £k) wherein the fee is nil.
