Deadlines
If there was a change before 6 April 2020 and the trust was liable to tax for any of the 3 tax years up to 6 April 2020, you must update the details by 31 January 2021.
If the change was in the tax year 2020 to 2021 and the trust was liable to tax for that year, you must update the details by 31 January 2022.
If there have been no changes to the trust details, but the trust was liable to tax for any tax year, you must declare this on the Trust Register by the same deadline as if there had been a change.
