Retirement of Incapable Trustee (Isle of Man)

We are looking at a Trust which is governed by the law of the Isle of Man. However, we are a UK based firm. We have a Trustee who is incapable of acting due to lack of mental capacity. Had UK law have been applicable, we would have been able to use s36(1) of the Trustee Act 1925 to retire the Trustee, as they do not have a beneficial interest. Has anybody experienced a similar issue under Isle of Man law or is aware of whether the law can be applied?

Trustee Act 1961 s.35 (IoM) seems worth reviewing.

Thank you, this is very helpful!
