New style grant

I am winding up an Estate and usually I return the original grant which contains the sealed Will but this is the first estate with the new style grant. Should I just enclose a copy of the Will as without it the grant seems fairly pointless. This is probably a trivial problem but what do others think? Should we always ask for the official copy. What if there is a deed of variation - do you just mark the reverse of the new style grant?
