Best practice guidance for renuciation of Executorship

I am looking for guidance that was previously published on the Law Society website some time ago (possibly 8-10 years ago) with regards to renunciation of a professional Executor. This guidance referred to matters for consideration where a surviving spouse of the Testator/rix requests an Executor renounce. I am trying to find the source of this guidance.

I am aware of section EP.2 Law Society Wills and Inheritance Protocol and this is not what I am looking for.

I have also been in contact with the Law Society library and they cannot locate the guidance. However, my colleagues and I remember practice guidance of this nature being on the Law Society website.

Thank you in advance.

The WebArchive came up with this Law Society guidance from 2011 (see item 5). This then also refers to this SRA guidance from 2010 (see last question).
