Certified true copy Enduring Power of Attorney

Many years ago, we prepared an Enduring Power of Attorney for a client. Last summer, we were asked for solicitor certified true copies, which we provided. It turns out that his son has used the certified true copies to register the enduring power of attorney. We have copies with the court’s validation mark, and we have been asked to provide solicitor certified true copies of this registered EPA. Our firm were not appointed as attorney, so he has not made it difficult for us to act should need arise, but we are thinking about whether any issues are likely to arise or indeed whether we should send the original enduring power of attorney which has remained with us throughout to the OPG. Right now our thought is to send the solicitor certified true copies of the registered certified true copy EPA, but has anyone experienced problems with this in the past? Not every institution handles these things sensibly
