Hello all,
I have a rather difficult potential estate. The deceased appointed his estranged daughter and AN Other as executors (don’t ask why!).
The beneficiaries are the daughter and the daughter’s son. This adult grandson is estranged from his mother and wants nothing to do with her. He particularly doesn’t want her knowing where he lives.
Is there a solution (assuming the daughter insists on acting) for the grandson’s address to be kept under wraps? I can’t see how this could happen (short of him disclaiming). An executor is required to identify a beneficiary.
If I act for the daughter then I am under a duty to disclose what I know to my client.
Any ideas?
Many thanks
Richard
