Consultation form request for copy of a will

Hello all

I would like to know, is it normal for a Trust Specialist to ask for a copy of a will on a consultation form at the consultation process?

If answer is yes, what is the reason for asking?

If the trust you want to discuss is in the will, then yes. If it is estate planning issues you want to discuss then having a clear picture of the destination of the client’s estate also makes sense as often lifetime planning and wills should go hand in hand.
