We acted on behalf of a son in a deputyship application for finances a few years ago. Unfortunately, the son has a terminal illness and can no longer act on behalf of his mother.
The daughter now wants to apply to be a deputy. Where an order has already been issued in respect of someone, do practitioners find that a second application takes less time or is it likely to be as long as the original applicaiton?
