In a probate matter:
Where the residue has been ascertained and an interim cash distribution is going to be made to a beneficiary, are the bank transfer fees payable by the beneficiary or from the residue?
I have always given the beneficiaries the choice of a cheque or a bank transfer. If they elect for the convenience of a transfer then I have always considered the bank fees were payable by them.
