Executor previously committed fraud

I am acting for an estate and one of the minor beneficiaries called to advise the executor of the Will (who has taken power reserved) and is also a 50% residuary beneficiary - was previously subject to an investigation by the Office of Supervising Solicitors and misconduct was found with respect to the misappropriation of funds in excess of £400,000 and also drafting Wills for people any benefiting in those Wills and falsifying a Will so he benefited from it and a confiscation order was put in place, the criminal fraud case failed on a technicality.

The Will in question was drafted by executor but witnessed by some neighbours. He was also a 50% beneficiary in a previous Will. He has advised me he was a friend of her and her husband.

She has no family and was aware of the fraud which he had previously been dealt with by the court system.

In light of the above should I report it to anyone or are we ok to just distribute the funds in accordance with the Will.

I suggest contacting the Law Society ethics hotline.
