Forfeited Spanish Timeshare

I am dealing with an estate (UK domicile) where the deceased had a timeshare in mainland Spain. About 20 years ago the ‘annual dues’ rocketed with a warning that if the ever increasing annual dues were not paid the timeshare would be forfeited. The annual dues were not paid.

Given the passage of time and lack of paper trail is there any way to find if the deceased’s estate still has any liability to this interest? The executor is not the beneficiary of the estate.
