Funeral Wishes of will

If there is no explicit instructions in the will for a funeral arrangement to be done for a deceased. And the only instruction is for a Burial.

Are we duty bound to arrange a funeral and invite attendees to attend, or do we just have ensure he is buried as per the will.

Funeral wishes are not legally binding. But if the deceased said they wished to be buried, probably reasonable to do that. The rest is up to you as executor (which I am assuming is the case).
