Do any forum members have recommendations for an English speaking tax advisor who can advise a German resident UK national on tax compliance matters, please?
I am acting for the trustees of an English trust where the (English) life tenant is resident in Germany and is struggling to find an advisor locally to advise her on German tax matters with regards to her entitlement under the trust.
This feels like one of those cases where a normal tax adviser might be out of their depth. I’d probably focus on firms that handle expat or international tax work day in, day out.
I perhaps should have phrased my initial enquiry differently - yes, I am looking for recommendations for international tax advisors who can advise an English expat living in Germany, bonus points if they are familiar with English trusts!
