The useful STEP update following the HMCTS Probate User Group mentioned that HMRC was expected to begin emailing codes from 16 September.
I imagine they could obtain addresses via HMCTS but if applications are made on paper, they do not currently ask for an email address.
Does anybody know if HMRC are planning to amend IHT400? Or should we include an email address in Additional Information and hope for the best?
(or did i miss the box asking for an email address?)
