Banco Santander dividend paid 4 May 2021 with an ex-dividend date of 30 April 2021 and a dividend declared date of 26 March 2021.
Client died on 23 April 2021 - does this dividend need to be included in section 2 on form IHT411?

As the shares were quoted “cum div” as at the date of death, there is no separate dividend to include on the IHT 411 (its value is already included within the quoted share price).
