Irish Probate required

I am seeking assistance from somebody who can deal with Irish probate, it has all moved online now and I do not have a tax number with the Irish Revenue Authorities so cant get past the first hurdle.

Background, wife of deceased is based in Guernsey, all assets were in joint name so no Guernsey probate required.

Portfolio held with St James Place, Dublin in deceased name.

Approximate value £14K

Is anyone able to make a recommendation as to who could help with obtaining probate.

Many thanks

Brendan

I would generally suggest that an Irish law firm be instructed to obtain a grant in the Republic of Ireland. If any queries arise they are better placed to liaise with the Probate Court there.

Matheson have obtained Irish grants in a number of English states and initial contact might be with Paraic Madigan (paraic.madigan@matheson.com).

Many thanks, just logged into site and seen your message, I found one through my brother in law who was dealing with an estate purely by chance.
