Legal Services Guild

Please could anyone on the forum help as to how I locate documents that were held by this now defunct organisation “Legal Services Guild” of Wilmslow. My client has been provided with a link, which I have also tried, but which yields no reply. TIA

Oh dear. I guess you have seen: Legal Services Guild Reviews | Read Customer Service Reviews of www.legalservicesguild.co.uk

Have a look at this page: https://www.legalservicesguild.co.uk/ There is a link to locate documents and the contact details shown.

The wayback machine can also be helpful to see historic websites, for example: Wayback Machine

Many thanks Tigger. I hadn’t looked at Trust Pilot but will take a look for useful information. The link is the one that client and I have followed but to no avail. I will try all the phone numbers to see if that leads anywhere. Difficulty is that I see a property title with just a Form A restriction and client holds an unsigned copy Trust Deed so I do need to locate the documents to see where we are. The location of Will is less crucial as client can make a fresh one….

There is a page about what do do if you need information or documentation at: Legal Services Guild | Important Client Announcement - click on the link.

I’m not sure if unregulated firms, that I assume this is, had to advise the SRA where their will bank went as solicitors do; but it is worth checking the SRA website too as they sometimes know where Will banks are.

Thank you Emma - yes unregulated so I hadn’t thought to do this, but will contact SRA and ask
