Please could anyone on the forum help as to how I locate documents that were held by this now defunct organisation “Legal Services Guild” of Wilmslow. My client has been provided with a link, which I have also tried, but which yields no reply. TIA

Many thanks Tigger. I hadn’t looked at Trust Pilot but will take a look for useful information. The link is the one that client and I have followed but to no avail. I will try all the phone numbers to see if that leads anywhere. Difficulty is that I see a property title with just a Form A restriction and client holds an unsigned copy Trust Deed so I do need to locate the documents to see where we are. The location of Will is less crucial as client can make a fresh one….

I’m not sure if unregulated firms, that I assume this is, had to advise the SRA where their will bank went as solicitors do; but it is worth checking the SRA website too as they sometimes know where Will banks are.

Does your client know which representative they saw from Legal Services Guild? I think I am aware of at least two former representatives that might be able to help?
As per Companies House, you could try the liquidator Fortis Insolvency in Didsbury.
Alternatively, Thomas Harrison, one of the directors, appears to still have a role with “Together We Plan Ltd”, which appears to be the sole surviving entity.
