Limited Grant - Second One Required?

Hi All,

I am wondering if someone will be able to help…

A Grant of Letters of Administration was taken out by an attorney for one beneficiary and a guardian for another beneficiary who was a minor, two administrators being required due to the minor interest. The Grant is limited for the attorney’s use and benefit until further representation be granted and for the use and benefit of the minor until he reaches eighteen.

If the minor reaches eighteen before the administration is complete, is a further Grant required or can the attorney act under the original Grant?

Many thanks in advance for your thoughts/insights :slightly_smiling_face:

Helen
