Loyalty Accounts bequest in Wills?

I have a client who wants to leave her Loyalty points (Boots, Tesco Clubcard, Nectar, etc) to her daughter, and has read that they need to be specifically mentioned in the Will.
Has anyone had experience of the companies not playing ball if the accounts are not specifically mentioned in the Will, but come under residue?
A new one for me.

I have never seen specific mention of loyalty accounts in a Will (because most clients probably do not see much value in them), but specific mention can of course be made. My experience is that the scheme providers are very helpful and usually only ask for the details of the person to whom the points should be transferred to, without bothering the bereaved family too much with paperwork.

HTH.
