Hello all
I am going round in circles with something. Where a Trust Corporation appoints an attorney to execute documents on its behalf, does it need to be a Trustee POA (under TA 1925) or will a more general one do? Or a corporate style one? I have been passed a copy of their POA, which is very generic and contains no legislative references. The Land Registry have queried this and said that it should be a ‘trustee power of attorney’ (presumably that it should reference TA 1925).
Any guidance welcome!
