HMCTS have announced that, subject to the approval of Parliament, the Probate Fee is to rise to £526 from £300 from 13 July “to reflect an ever-improving service”. I seem to have missed the occasions when it was reduced “to reflect an ever-worsening service”.
O for the halcyon days of 2018 when it cost £155 and came back in 2 weeks!
Yes indeed. It all worked so well before the change to the current shambolic system!
