I understood that for complex probate applications pending for over 6 months we were able to get a meeting with the Registry to resolve the matter.
We are now told that this no longer exists and I would be interested to know what information others have been given.
I’ve emailed the Probate Registry requesting one of these mythical meetings, but to date have not even had the courtesy of a reply. When I tried phoning the Probate Registry, the call handler said he hadn’t heard anything about meetings being offered for complex / delayed probate applications.
Ian Bond delivered a webinar yesterday when he mentioned this. He gave the email address NSFAMILYBMT@justice.gov.uk to request a telephone appointment with a senior staff member for cases over 6 months.
