RNRB, DA & Selling to live with Family

Hi All,

First post and have searched the forum but didn’t find the exact answer (although I think I now know).

Client has full RNRB available and TRNRB. Discussed selling the home (£700,000ish) and then living with his Son. He wouldn’t be paying rent, owning any proportion of sons house, nor would he be gifting any proceeds of the house sale.

I understand full ‘lost RNRB’ would be available on this basis?

Lets say in future, he did wish to make a gift of cash, this wont be caught by GROB or POAT?
