I have a case where husband & wife owned their house as tenants in common in equal shares. Husband has died and by his Will left his surviving spouse a life interest in his half share of the house. The Will then states that after wife dies their son has a right to occupy the half share in the house for one year and after the one year has passed the half share in the house goes to husband & wife’s children in equal shares. Wife’s Will leaves everything to their children in equal shares. On wife’s death does wife’s estate get the transferable RNRB from husband’s estate?
