I have been working solely in the area of trust registrations for the last 2 years and have set up a fixed price scheme with a trust company. Support from financial advisers is strong and they definitely see why lay trustees will need help. My question is whether there is an appetite amongst solicitors, estate planners etc. within the STEP membership for some partnerships. If not, I will concentrate on the financial advisers firms already supporting us or planning their campaigns.
Dear Kevin,
I have set up similar processes to assist third parties. I think it’s about supporting those who need it and handing holding others. Some solicitors have dealt with matters internally, others are looking for support in registering.
Firstly it’s about identifying the trusts and collating the information and then waiting for the pre-Sept rush!
Good luck
