Universal Trustees Ltd

Hello forum,
I have a case in which Mr and Mrs Long as Universal Trustees Ltd advised regarding a trust. Trust owns a charge of settlor’s residence to an amount not exceeding £324999.Title to property remains in name of settlor. Settlor has died and on her death the trust property passes to daughter, as does all of her estate by Will. The trust’s charge is stated to be enforceable against the residence only.
Im afraid Im struggling to understand how this works (or doesn’t) viz a viz RNRB. Has anyone else dealt with a similar trust and can offer assistance please?
