This may be out of scope but does anyone have experience of a will trust established in the UK - the testator was UK resident - where one of the 2 trustees becomes resident in the US? My reading is that the trust remains a UK trust subject to UK tax unless the US based trustee has control of the trust. In this particular case the trustees are of equal status and the other one is UK resident.
