Hi,

I’d be interested to hear any experiences on Video witnessing.

Are firms using the traditional method or using technology, any pitfalls?

I co-presented a webinar about this a few weeks ago. the webinar included an interactive poll of delegates - the vast majority were still signing/witnessing the traditional way. The main concerns with video witnessing included PII impact, additional costs of multiple video calls when each party signs, secure storage of video recordings, risk of loss of document in transit between the testator and witnesses, risk of death/ incapacity of testator/witness.
